Whether used on its own, or in conjunction with other methodologies, Discovery's web-survey capabilities provide customers with the same quality and flexibility they have come to expect.

WEB SURVEY PROGRAMMING

Discovery utilizes CfMC's WebSurvent software to implement online surveys. This allows us to combine the complex CATI logic capabilities of CfMC Survent (the most widely used telephone survey engine) with the formatting and programming flexibility of the Internet (CGI, HTML, DHTML, Java, etc). In addition to having full control over the way questions are presented on screen, WebSurvent enables complex questionnaire logic such as (but not limited to):

- Skips
- Rotates
- Randomization
- Full Quota Control
- Password Protection and Selection Processes

By using the same integrated software for both CATI and online data collection, Discovery is able to effectively leverage it's programming expertise to implement web projects quickly and efficiently. This also gives Discovery the ability to seamlessly run projects that include both telephone and web elements.

ONLINE PANELS

Discovery Research Group maintains relationships with several online panel suppliers, including Survey Sampling Inc. & Greenfield Online. These panels are comprised of literally millions of potential respondents that can be targeted based on demographic and psychographic information. Panels are available for a wide range of project types, such as B2B, B2C, Technology, and International research. As a high-volume sample purchaser, Discovery is able to be extremely price-competitive.

WEB-HOSTING AND STORAGE

Discovery hosts all of its online surveys in-house. This allows complete control and security with regard to the data collection and storage process. Data is collected using Linux Servers, each equipped with independent battery back-up power supply. Data is backed up nightly and is also stored in a secure off-site location. Through various levels of diagnostic and auto-alert functionality, Discovery's team of infrastructure specialists continually monitors the heart-beat of the system and optimizes technical performance. Full HIPPA & GLB security measures are in place and are constantly updated.
